Founded in 1972, and with a shop in Baron's Court, HG Walter has long been London's favourite butcher. Stocking restaurants across the capital, from River Café to Kricket to name but a few, the butchers is known for its exceptional quality.

HG Walter has devoted to supplying products of the highest quality, and will be supplying Urban Pubs and Bars only from British and Irish farms to ensure animal welfare is front and centre to produce exceptional cuts. The butcher is proud to be the best rather than the biggest, holding the business values close at all times.

Urban Pubs and Bars Head of Food Chef Lee McMullen said “We have been massively impressed by their commitment to ethical sourcing, heritage breedsfrom UK and Irish farms, farmer relations, minimising food waste through whole carcass butchery and commitment to great taste by for example, dry ageing their beef in a Himalayan salt dry-ageing room to draw out the moisture and intensify the flavour”.
